OLEC 1 – Access OLE Construction Sites Your First Step into Overhead Line Work At NMS Rail, we offer accredited OLEC 1 (Access OLE Construction Sites) training for individuals entering the Overhead Line Electrification (OLE) environment. This is the mandatory entry-level qualification required for all workers needing access to OLE construction sites, as defined by Network Rail standards. OLEC 1 is not about carrying out electrical work — it’s about ensuring every individual entering an OLE site understands the safety requirements, behaviours, and access protocols needed to work safely near high-voltage equipment.
