Requirements

Learners must be 16+ and bring along valid ID (Passport, Driving license or ID card) along with National Insurance and Proof of Address.

Availability

Courses will be scheduled upon receiving the minimum10 learners per session and only 20spaces available per course.

Courses run weekday and weekends so book in advance by checking the "Upcoming events" to avoid any disappointment.

Courses will be delivered in house but can also be delivered on site.

About Working at Height

No matter the height you are working on, whether above or below ground level, where there is risk of personal injury your work must comply with the Working at Heights Regulations 2005.
Falling from height is the highest cause of injury in the construction industry, and employers must take precautions to ensure that they avoid the work where possible and provide working equipment to prevent falls and accidents.
Employers must also ensure that any employee working at height is competent and understands the risks and dangers associated with working at heights.
This course is designed to train and make each individual competent when working at heights, teaching them their responsibilities and about the hazards when working at heights.

Course Content

There are no pre-requisites to enroll on this course however candidates must have the physical ability to carry out the procedures in this course.

Quantity

Results can take up to 3 days to come through, and longer if there are any contraindications. Positive samples will lead to a 5-year suspension, notified on your Sentinel profile. There are no longer any paper based medical certificates issued. Everything now is uploaded onto Sentinel. You must have a sentinel profile in order for your results to be issued. If less than 14 days notice is given of a cancellation of a booking, part of a booking, or a candidate fails to attend at the appointed time and place or fails to bring with them specified photographic identification or such documentation and/or information as is required for their test or examination then the full fee will be charged. If a booking is made within 14 days of the appointment, the booking cannot be rescheduled or refundable. Same day bookings will be charged in advance of attendance and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. Candidates must ensure that they can attend their scheduled appointment before finalising their booking. Appointments that are rescheduled on the day of the appointment will incur the full fee of the appointment.
